1. About the service

Scope Works provides fixed-scope website design and development services using WordPress.

The available packages are:

One Page — €895
One scrolling website page with up to 6 sections.

Up to 5 Pages — €1,495
Up to 5 separate pages, with up to 12 sections in total.

The header and footer do not count as sections.
A section means a separate content block, such as a hero, services, about, testimonials, FAQ or contact section.

2. What’s included

• website design in Figma;
• WordPress development;
• responsive layout for desktop, tablet and mobile;
• one standard contact form;
• basic SEO setup;
• two rounds of changes;
• website launch.

Standard functionality is implemented using existing WordPress solutions and plugins where appropriate.
Plugin-based functionality may be subject to the styling and technical limitations of the relevant plugin.

3. What’s not included

Unless agreed separately in writing, the service does not include:

We do not sell your personal data.

• copywriting;
• content strategy;
• image sourcing or editing;
• custom illustrations;
• logo design;
• brand identity design;
• custom plugin development;
• custom functionality;
• custom forms or calculators;
• booking systems;
• advanced integrations;
• extensive custom development;
• ongoing SEO;
• SEO strategy or keyword research;
• SEO copywriting.

Additional functionality may be quoted separately.

4. Client materials

The client is responsible for providing final:

• text;
• images;
• logo;
• brand materials;
• other content required for the website.

The client must have the necessary rights and permissions to use all materials provided to Scope Works.
Scope Works is not responsible for delays caused by missing, incomplete or late client materials.

5. Project start and timeline

The project starts once:

1. the offer has been accepted;
2. the agreement has been signed;
3. the required upfront payment has been received;
4. Scope Works has received all materials and information necessary to begin the project.

The website takes up to 2 weeks from the point at which all required materials have been received and the project is ready to start.
Delays caused by missing materials, delayed feedback or changes to the agreed scope may extend the timeline.

6. Design process

The website is first designed in Figma.
The client receives the design for review.
The package includes two rounds of changes.
A round of changes means one consolidated set of feedback provided by the client.
Changes must relate to the agreed project scope.
Requests that substantially change the agreed structure, functionality or scope may be treated as additional work and quoted separately.

7. WordPress development

After the design is approved, Scope Works builds the website in WordPress.
The website is developed within the agreed scope and using standard WordPress functionality and available plugin solutions.
Custom development or functionality outside the agreed scope requires a separate quotation.

8. Payment

The project is paid in two stages:

• 50% upfront to book the project;
• 50% before the website is launched.

The project is not booked until the first payment has been received.

The final website will not be launched on the client’s live domain until the remaining balance has been paid, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Client approval

The client is responsible for reviewing and approving the design and final website.
Once the design has been approved, further changes to the approved design may be treated as additional work.
Before launch, the client has the opportunity to review the finished website and report any agreed fixes within the project scope.

10. Additional work

Work outside the agreed package or scope may include:

• additional pages or sections;

• custom functionality;
• additional design work;
• additional rounds of changes;
• custom integrations;
• additional development.

Additional work will be quoted separately and requires the client’s approval before work begins.

11. Third-party services

Some website functionality may rely on third-party services, WordPress plugins, hosting providers or other external platforms.
Scope Works does not control third-party services and cannot guarantee their continued availability, pricing, functionality or compatibility.

The client is responsible for any third-party subscriptions or licences that are not explicitly included in the agreed project price.

12. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client retains ownership of the content and materials they provide.
Upon full payment, the client receives the agreed rights to use the final website design and website created specifically for the project.
Third-party software, plugins, fonts, stock assets and other third-party materials remain subject to their respective licences and terms.
Scope Works retains the right to use completed projects as part of its portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.

13. Website hosting and maintenance

Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, ongoing hosting, maintenance, updates and support after launch are not included in the project price.
The client is responsible for maintaining any third-party services, licences or subscriptions connected to the website.

14. Launch

The website is prepared for launch after the final review and completion of agreed fixes.
The remaining 50% payment must be received before launch.
The client is responsible for providing correct domain and hosting access where required.

15. Delays

Scope Works is not responsible for delays caused by:

• late delivery of client materials;
• delayed feedback or approval;
• changes requested by the client;
• third-party services;
• hosting or domain issues outside Scope Works’ control;
• circumstances beyond Scope Works’ reasonable control.

16. Cancellation

If the client cancels the project after the project has been booked and work has started, work already completed may be charged based on the work performed.
Any refund of the upfront payment will be considered based on the work already completed and applicable consumer or contract law.

17. Liability

Scope Works will provide the services with reasonable care and skill.
Scope Works is not responsible for losses caused by third-party services, hosting providers, plugins, external integrations or materials supplied by the client.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

18. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable to the contracting entity providing the Scope Works services, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws that may apply to the client.
